Charities specific to aiding in Africa, such as Love Africa

Many continents realise the problems inherent on the African continent and set up charities so that children who are starving, who are impoverished and many of whom are suffering from HIV/Aids have a chance for a better life. Love Africa and many charities like it are religion based and many of their donations to Africa come from parishioners in churches throughout Europe and America.

AfricaOften, these charities promote their cause to help a child in Africa with feeding schemes. They realise that they cannot ask people to assist by going to Africa and getting involved and thus they make a strong case for those who cannot help any other way than with monetary donations. These charities usually have contact with charity organisations in South Africa, Uganda and other African countries and give them the money that they have raised to distribute in the country. In some cases, a pastor or missionary will go specifically to Africa to buy food and make donations to those affected by poverty and disease.

Poverty in Africa is a big problem and has affected hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people on this continent. That is why an Africa charity, even one based on another continent, is vital in keeping people in Africa from dying. Charity organisations that work with people in Africa sometimes send their donations in the form of food or even medicine to keep people alive. For some charities, going to Africa to donate food and help people is their way of spreading the message of their religion, though this is something secondary to the acts of human kindness they perform.

Charity work is often done because of the need to achieve something more than having a good job or to make money. It is about satisfying the need for self-fulfilment and ensuring that one leaves a legacy after one dies. With charity work in Africa, this is even more true because these people are in desperate need. If you can help, you should try to not just to feel good about yourself, but because you are giving others the chance for a better life.
